Bibles Up is the slogan. Preachers is a gospel rap group made up of three dynamic young men, with unique gifts in rap and singing and are poised to changing the face of rap music through the preaching and teaching of the word of God in the genre of music. Obed Psych, Emani Beats and Edmund Baidoo make up the Preachers.

The group has been active since 2009 and has worked towards bringing a different dimension to the Ghanaian gospel music scene. Starting with campus ministrations and evangelism, Preachers have grown to establish themselves in the music industry. Their debut album “Mark 16:15” was a massive hit with the gospel faithful as it enabled the group to minister in most of the churches, events and prestigious platforms in the country.

The break of their genre of gospel music and the acceptance of their ministry by both the young and the elderly, has paved way and created the platform for others, mostly the young ones with such talents to glorify God with it and build ministries and careers out of it. With their spectacular mission of evangelism they have ministered numerous Senior High Schools and Tertiary institutions across the nation.

They have also organized numerous shows and have been on a number of tours spreading the word of God in Senior High Schools, Universities, Churches and at other events. Their debut album,”Mark 16:15, launched in September 2012, has won them many awards in Ghana and beyond. They were the winners for “Afro Rap Artist of the Year” at the Africa Gospel Music Awards 2013 in London, “Most Wanted Rap Song of the Year” at the 2013 Christian Community Music Awards, and “Discovery of the Year” at the Ghana Gospel Music Awards 2012.
