The urban gospel movement has been gradually create a niche for itself in the urban gospel industry. We’ve seen the rise of pacesetters such as Kingzkid, Preachers, Royal Priesthood, Regardless, Natty Ogli, Psalm One, Lil Zig amongst many others.

New acts like Goddey, Flintstones, Scott Evans, Neqta, TKC, Kells, Kriztians, Joe Kay, Edem Evangelist amongst a host of may talented acts have continued ti raise the banner high.

Over the years we’ve seen the likes of urban gospel groups such as Royal Priesthood, Preachers, Counter Attack, The Christhood, Team Jesus, Calvary Brothers, 2Fresh4God, SI Unit, FIUMEN, Love TROY, Team Christ, Swhag Team amongst others grace stages to preach the gospel through beautiful music.

The likes of Preachers and Royal Priesthood have lasted over a decade in the urban gospel scene. Fast rising acts such as 2Fresh4God, TKC etc keep making a name for themselves. However we cannot deny the fact that some groups have become totally dormant if not extinct.

UGMB chanced upon this post by TKC answering the “group” question on the “Urban Gospel Show” hosted by De Lady Rev. on Top Fm.
